Arcane Hymn: The original hymn „Christ ist erstanden“ is about 900 years old which makes it probably the oldest liturgical chant in German language. I've always been fascinated by it's archaic harmonies and have experimented with it's themes since I learned to play piano in my youth. I always wanted to create something bigger around them, preferably something rocking. Well, I just did... If you want to listen to the original hymn you don't have to look elsewhere. I used it as intro for this song.
Moving on the Ground: This one refers to a picture of a beautiful lake I took on a holiday in France. What would it sound like to walk on the bottom of that lake? Imagine the broken rays of sunlight, the waving seagrass and small bubbles caused by breathing fish...
Soul: The main theme originates from a jam session with my brother who by the way is a pretty good guitar player. I really enjoyed those sessions.

Still Moving: This one pics up the main theme of „Moving on the Ground“ again, this time however not as a lyrical soundscape but as a battle cry hammered in steel!
